Recrimination is a symphonic, progressive rockband and was founded the 22th of June 2008 by Jasper Welp and Astrid van Dissel.

Jasper (guitar and vocals) played in Mantikhoras and Armyth. Astrid (vocals and flute) played in Terrasagrada, Gandillion and Armyth. Together they decided to start their own band to explore their own musical perspectives.

On the 31th of August vocal and drum player Jos Grooteman joined Recrimination. Jos is also known as the drum player of Leap of Faith.

Other than the modern symfo/prog bands, this band has not a soprano / metal sound, but use influences from the old progressive music. The band members of Recrimination surrenders them self to the music, their creative ownership, and high catchy emotional contents are the most important values of this band.
