A New Dawn
A New Dawn once started off as side project, but since 2004 has grown to become the full-fleged metal band it is today.
Three guys and three girls who enrich the metal genre with their music.
Gothic? That doesn't cover it by far !
Add a big dose of heavy metal,
a few teaspoons of prog,
a dash of trash and a pinch of soul.
This results in a portion of yummy 'Double Female Fronted Metal'.
'Double' because of the two leading ladies who combine classical with pop/soul singing.
Apart from that, they have a female grunter who leaves many male grunters far behind.
A New Dawn knows how to distinguish itself in a positive way from the grey mass and at the same time sounds accessable for a bigger audience.
By releasing their full-length debut album 'Falling From Grace'
in May 2008 A New Dawn proves to be ready for the big thing.
